Our community boasts a multitude of amenities, including The Carousel Bar & Lounge, a 24-hour Fitness Center, a Movie/Karaoke Room, The Hyphen Lounge and Coffee Bar, a Pet Spa, a Smoke-free community, a Yoga Studio, a Library with co-working space, a Podcast room, Kayak storage, bicycle storage, package lockers, and controlled access entry.

We have an unreserved surface lot for $75 per month or street parking, monitored by the City of Richmond.

Here at The Carousel, we are proud to be pet-friendly with no breed restrictions! We have a weight restriction of 100 lbs per pet with a 2-pets per household policy. There is a monthly pet rent of $35 per pet and a one-time nonrefundable pet fee of $300 for one pet and $500 for two.

We do not offer furnished apartments.

The shortest lease term offered is 9 months.

Packages will be delivered to our Package Concierge lockers in the mail room. Once a package has been logged into the system, the resident will be notified by text or email. Any items that do not fit in the lockers or perishables will be placed in the package room across from the locker system.

There is a non-refundable application fee of $50 per applicant and $50 per guarantor. There is a refundable reservation fee of $200. The security deposit ranges from $350 to half a month's rent. Any future resident moving in on or after the 21st of each month must also include the following month's rent with their move-in payment. 

A resident can pay through our resident portal, which is easily accessible on our website, the RentCafe app, and through certified funds.

There is a $15/month trash fee, a $35 or $50/month pet rent, an optional $75/month surface lot parking fee, and a $14.50 POL policy with Assurant.

Utilities are a separate cost. Water and sewage will be billed to the resident portal, and residents must set up an account with Dominion Energy for their electricity. 

Yes! We offer a policy through Assurant that is $14.50 per month. A third-party policy is acceptable, with proof required.

Residents are welcome to have guests, but per the signed lease agreement, "Persons not listed as a leaseholder must not stay in the apartment for more than 14 consecutive
days without our prior written consent, and no more than twice that many days in any one month." We allow guests to park in the lot during business hours only (8:30 AM - 5:30 PM).

Residents are not allowed to sublet their apartments.

Yes! The closest stop for the GRTC is 0.2 miles away.

The Carousel is located in the Fan District neighborhood in Richmond.

We are located in Richmond City Public School District. (Elementary School: John B. Cary, Middle School: Albert Hill, High School: Open High School)

Our community is located near the Virginia Capital Trail.

The Carousel is close to Publix Super Market at Carytown Exchange, Kroger, and Ellwood Thompson's.

Lamplighter Coffee Roasters is located 0.3 miles away or a 6-minute walk!

The Carousel is easily accessible via Powhite Parkway, The Downtown Expressway, and I-95. Once you've arrived, the main entrance to our leasing office is located on the corner of Grayland and Stafford.
